Once the Data Collector, Presentation Format and Data Storage components have been added and configured, they must then be associated with each other. This is done via the Project.
When creating a Project you can simply Add the project and then configure it through the Properties window, or you can use the Add Project wizard.
When adding a project using the Wizard you can:
use existing Data Collector(s), Presentation Format(s) and Data Store(s)
create new Data Collector(s), Presentation Format(s) and Data Store(s)
We recommend using the Add Project Wizard to create your project.
Only 1 Data Collector can be specified, either OPC or UA.
Groups are not restricted, so you can add 1..n groups.
Data Stores are not restricted, so you can add 1..n data stores.
Triggers are not restricted, so you can add 1..n triggers.
The incoming data from the Data Collector will be sent to all of the Data Stores that have been associated with the project.
